SPEECH & LANGUAGE EVALUATION

Pediatric

Speech and Language Assessments are holistic and multi-disciplinary. Good testing identifies the child's current level of functioning and outlines a treatment direction. It involves incorporating a host of factors and information provided by the parent, physician, teacher, mental health professional (if indicated) and speech therapist. An array of standardized testing batteries are utilized as well as this therapist's clinical judgment.  Evaluations range from one to two hours depending on the degree of testing required.  A complete written report will follow testing and will be provided to the parent.  I am available to consult with whomever the parent deems necessary. Parent may submit the report complete with diagnosis, diagnostic and procedural codes to his/her insurance company for third party reimbursement.
